Where do you ship to and how are delivery costs calculated?

Yes, we offer standard rates via Royal Mail/Parcelforce to the following countries: UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Singapore. You can see our delivery regions and charges here.

For all other countries, please email us at support@tahapublishers.com with your full address and order details. We’ll use our network of brokers to tailor the most cost-effective shipping solution to your region.
Am I responsible for customs fees, taxes, or import duties on international orders?

Yes. All international orders are shipped on a Delivered At Place (DAP) / Duties Unpaid basis.

This means that your order total does not include any import duties, customs fees, or local taxes (like VAT or GST) that may be levied by your country’s customs office.

The customer is solely responsible for paying these charges to the courier or local postal service upon arrival. We recommend checking your country’s import regulations and tax thresholds before purchasing.
What payment methods do you accept, and is my payment information secure?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as payments made via PayPal and Stripe. You can shop with complete peace of mind, as our checkout is secured with advanced encryption and industry-leading security protocols. Your personal and payment information is always kept 100% private and secure.
When will my card be charged for a pre-ordered book? When can I expect my pre-order to arrive?

Your card is charged immediately at the moment you place the pre-order, which ensures your book is reserved. You can expect your pre-order to arrive on or shortly after the official release date that is displayed on the book’s product page. We generally limit pre-orders to a window of 20 days before the release date.
How can I track my order once it has shipped?
I have changed my mind about the purchase and I would like to cancel my order.

If you wish to cancel your order, please email support@tahapublishers.com with your order number as soon as possible. If we are notified before dispatch, we will issue a full refund. However, if your order has already shipped and the cancellation is not due to a fault or processing error, we unfortunately cannot refund the original shipping fee. In this case, you would be responsible for returning the unused items in a resaleable condition. Full details are available in our Returns and Refund Policy.
I have received a faulty/damaged book, what should I do?

If you have received a faulty, damaged, or incorrectly processed book, please contact us as soon as possible by emailing support@tahapublishers.com with your order number. To help us process your replacement quickly and free of charge, please attach photos of the error or damage to your email. We will dispatch a new copy immediately, and you do not need to return the faulty item. Full details are available in our Returns and Refund Policy.
I haven’t received my order.

If your order has not arrived, please start by checking the status using the tracking number sent in your Shipping Confirmation Email. If the tracking is inconclusive, or if you require further assistance, please contact us immediately by emailing support@tahapublishers.com and quoting your order number. For international orders, please be aware that we must adhere to the courier’s official investigation period before declaring a package lost and issuing a replacement.

How can I submit a manuscript to you?

What subject matter do you accept for publication?

We are happy to consider any Islamic manuscript that is fresh, original, and innovative. We specifically look for subject matter that either deepens knowledge or provides a new perspective on the human experience in order to strengthen faith. If you have something significant to say that you believe hasn’t been adequately covered, we encourage you to submit your work.
Do you only accept polished, finished manuscripts?
Do I need a literary agent to submit my work?
Will I receive feedback if my manuscript is not accepted?

Due to the high volume of submissions, we unfortunately cannot provide in-depth feedback on every manuscript. We reserve detailed critiques for authors we invite for an initial consultation. However, we are committed to promptly notifying you of our decision within the 4-week window. Should your manuscript not be accepted, we would be pleased to refer you to experienced professionals who can help you develop your work further.
How long does the manuscript review process take?
How can I check on the status of my manuscript?

We strive to review all manuscripts and get back to every author within 4 weeks. If you haven’t heard from us by then, please check your spam folder first. If you still can’t find our response, please email us at support@tahapublishers.com and we will promptly check the status of your submission.

How can I place a large order for a book club or event?

We would be happy to provide a personal quote for your event or organisation. Please visit our Trade Enquiries page or contact our team directly by WhatsApp or our contact form, so we can tailor the most cost-effective quote for you.

How do you confirm the authenticity of your books?

All manuscripts are subjected to a rigorous process to verify the accuracy of sources, interpretations, and textual references. We focus strictly on material that draws directly from classical and authoritative Islamic texts, making our literature both accessible and uncompromisingly trustworthy.

I want to translate one of your books into another language.

If you wish to translate one of our books, please email support@tahapublishers.com with the title and the language you intend to translate it into. We require that you secure a publisher for the translated work, as we do not publish non-English books ourselves. If you are a publishing company interested in licensing translation rights, please contact us—we would be happy to discuss the opportunity.
I would like to contact one of your authors. How can I get their email address?

While we appreciate your interest in connecting with our authors, we cannot disclose their private contact information (such as email addresses) due to our privacy policy. Instead, please email your request or message to us at support@tahapublishers.com, and we will gladly forward it directly to the author for their consideration.
Do you offer desk copies or copies for review?

We are happy to consider requests for desk copies (for educational course adoption) or review copies (for media/academic review). Please email us at support@tahapublishers.com with the name of your institution (or publication) and the title you require. We will promptly review your request and get back to you.
Who can I contact to request permission to use content?

To request permission to use or reproduce content from one of our publications, please note that we are partnered with PLS Clear to manage all requests. You can find all necessary details and a direct link to submit your request on our dedicated permissions page.

I am illustrator/graphic designer and I’d like to send you samples of my work.

We are always on the lookout for new artistic talent, especially those who specialise in traditional hand illustration, though we welcome all styles! Since all of our children’s books (fiction and non-fiction) are illustrated, we encourage you to send us your information. Please email us at support@tahapublishers.com with a link to your online portfolio and your rates. We will add your details to our database and reach out when the perfect project arises.

At a time when there were limited faith-based resources to learn and teach Islam to the Muslim community in English, Afsar & Jamal-un-Nisa Siddiqui founded one of the first Islamic publishing houses in the UK. Leaving behind professional careers, they paved the way for future generations to enjoy a wide range of Islamic literature.
